Who We Are
Established in 2023 in Bel Air, Maryland, Achieve Behavioral Health Services was founded with a clear mission: to provide accessible, compassionate, and comprehensive care to individuals seeking support on their recovery journey.
From our Maryland headquarters, we operate men’s and women’s programs, as well as a primary mental health program, all designed to meet clients where they are with dignity and respect.
Since opening our doors, Achieve has served more than 3,000 clients and remains committed to supporting Medicaid and uninsured populations exclusively—fulfilling our promise to serve the underserved and ensure that high-quality behavioral health care is accessible to all who need it.
Growth and Expansion
In February 2025, Achieve expanded its reach with the opening of our Gastonia, North Carolina location. This facility extends our mission into a new region, offering the same client-centered, recovery-focused services to individuals and families seeking support in North Carolina. At this time, services at this location are available to men only and include SACOT, IOP, and OP, with plans to expand additional services in the near future.
With this continued growth, Achieve remains grounded in its core purpose: delivering high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most.
What We Offer
We are committed to providing the highest ethical standards of care across all of our programs, working collaboratively to help individuals achieve their goals. We strive to be a safe and supportive environment that helps clients get their lives back on track.
Our comprehensive and innovative continuum of care at our Maryland location includes Outpatient Treatment Services (OP), Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment (IOP), and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
At our North Carolina location, we offer SACOT, IOP, and OP services for men only at this time, with plans to expand additional support in the near future. All services are fully administered and monitored by clinically trained staff who provide a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming environment. Treatment duration typically ranges from one to six months, and we work closely with each client’s providers to determine the most appropriate length of stay.
